Question 1

What thermal performance can ALUCCO aluminum windows achieve?

Accepted Answer

Depending on profile depth, polyamide thermal break width and glazing build-up, our window systems reach Uw values from approximately 1.8 W/m²K with double glazing down to 0.9 W/m²K with triple glazing and warm-edge spacers. We calculate the exact Uw for your elevation sizes before production.

Question 2

What is the minimum order quantity for an export project?

Accepted Answer

We work on a project basis rather than a fixed piece count. A typical consolidated container load — windows, sliding doors and hardware for one villa or one apartment floor — is the most cost-efficient starting point, and mixed loads are accepted.

Question 3

Which drawings do you need to prepare a technical proposal?

Accepted Answer

Architectural elevations and window schedules in DWG or PDF, the glazing specification if already defined, and the destination wind load or climate zone. With these we return a system recommendation, profile sections and a bill of quantities.

Question 4

How are aluminum windows and façade units packed for sea freight?

Accepted Answer

Every unit is corner-protected, film-wrapped and loaded into fumigated wooden crates with internal bracing. Glass is shipped in A-frames or crates with silica protection, and each crate is labelled per elevation code for site-level installation.

Question 5

Do ALUCCO systems comply with European standards?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our supplied systems are produced with CE-marked aluminum profiles to EN 12020-2 tolerances and tested to EN 1026 (air permeability), EN 1027 (watertightness) and EN 12211 (wind resistance). Test reports are supplied with the technical dossier.
